Studying for my A levels is challenging enough but add in 30 hours of dive training a week and my life is pretty full and sometimes can be stressful. Most days I travel to and from school and training two to three times a day, it’s a pretty busy schedule. When I was selected for the Commonwealth Games I was honestly in shock but once I got out to the Gold Coast I focused and tried to put all my training into practice. Winning a silver medal is my greatest achievement (so far) and it felt fantastic to show that all the hard work I have been putting in paid off.
From that performance I was able to qualify to represent Great Britain Senior team at the Diving World Cup in China. However, I still have exams to focus on and even have to sit three exams whist out in China. Even though I have a crazily busy schedule I have been lucky to have been fully supported by all my teachers, coaches and family.
